Waredaca Barn

As a horse farm and brewery, where they sustainably grow their
own grain and hops, third-generation Waredaca owners Gretchen &
Robert Butts understand the importance of stewardship. Recognized
as agricultural stewards by the prestigious Maryland Farm Stewardship
Certification and Assessment Program (FSCAP) they wanted to expand
their eco-practices to the farm’s energy sourcing. With a number of
building structures onsite, rooftop solar was the method they chose.
Knowing the project would qualify for several different grants they
were looking for an installer with experience to navigate them through
the process.

We have wanted to put in solar for some time for we believe it to be the right thing to do and the price point now seems to work....You all were excellent to work with. @AuroraEnergy
